Jesus calls Matthew (Levi) the tax collector to follow him. Matthew demonstrates excitement and zeal to reach his friends and introduce them to Jesus as well, throwing a party and inviting them all over for dinner. Jesus calls us to reach out to sinners like he did, and like Matthew did.
