The Unforgivable Sin

Jesus makes it clear that every sin and every blasphemy of men and women will be forgiven if they turn to him in faith. However, he also warns that there is one sin that will not and cannot ever be forgiven. Jesus then compares our spiritual lives to that of a tree, and we see that we can know whether or not we’ve truly been forgiven by him by looking at the fruit our lives produce. Do you want to produce good fruit? Don’t hang it on a dead tree, turn to Jesus, be made alive, and then “tend the tree”.
