Jesus tells a parable of a farmer going out to sow seed in his field. As he sows, the seed lands on 4 different types of soil. A hard path, rocky ground, among thorns, and on good soil. Jesus compares the seed with his Word and the soil with our hearts. What kind of soil are you? Has the gospel truly taken root in your life? (This message also includes Jesus’ interaction with his family just prior to his telling of this parable.)
