God’s people looked ahead for the promised Messiah, but never would they have expected for God to write himself into the story the way he did by putting on a body, moving into the neighborhood, and becoming a servant who would ultimately die for our sins. All God’s promises came to pass when he took on flesh and became human in Jesus Christ.
