Is God Unjust?

Is God unjust when he shows mercy to some and not to others? None of us deserves his mercy, and his choice rests on his goodness rather than our effort, background, or worth. Moses and Pharaoh show that God is free to show mercy and he is just in judgment, even as we remain responsible for our response to Christ. These can be hard things! But always remember that we can bring our hard questions to God while remembering that he’s the potter and we are the clay. We can always trust and rest in the fact that all of his ways and actions are good, because he himself is altogether good.
