For many of us, evangelism can feel like a huge weight and completely undoable—often because we tend to think it’s all on us. The truth is that God does the work, we just need to be faithful to share our story and his story. Each week we’re looking at both God’s part and our part in being Ready Storytellers. This week we look again at our strategy of “P.E.A.R.L.” and how a Ready Storyteller prays first. They pray for specific people, places, and pains God sends them to. They also pray for courage and opportunity, trusting the Holy Spirit to work through them.
Evangelism isn’t a solo project—it’s a shared story: God goes first, we participate. God opens hearts, God gives courage, and God makes the appeal through us. Our part is simple, faithful obedience—showing up, paying attention, opening our mouths, and stepping into conversations as ambassadors of Jesus.
