We Preach Jesus.

We’re fond of saying, It’s All About Jesus! – Why? Because It’s All About Jesus!

Preaching at Wawasee Bible focuses on what Jesus has done to rescue, redeem, and restore us by his work on the cross. God’s Word is clear that apart from Jesus Christ, we’re hopeless to save ourselves. So rather than offer self-help that would explain how you can make your life better, we preach repentance and how in turning to Jesus, he will make you better.

As a general rule we preach through entire books of the bible, verse by verse, explaining how all of it points to Jesus.

It's All About Jesus!

It\'s All About Jesus!

After the Spirit’s descent, Peter gives the first Christian sermon in Acts 2:14-41. Preaching was what God used to grow the church. On the surface preaching seems a bit foolish, but God has chosen the proclamation of his Word to be at the center of his work in and through the Church. Peter (who had been cowardly afraid of some middle-school aged girls only 50 days earlier) stands up with courage to boldly preach to everyone on that Pentecost morning. He explained everything that was going on from Scripture, how it was all about Jesus and how we all need him!
