We’re fond of saying, It’s All About Jesus! – Why? Because It’s All About Jesus!

Preaching at Wawasee Bible focuses on what Jesus has done to rescue, redeem, and restore us by his work on the cross. God’s Word is clear that apart from Jesus Christ, we’re hopeless to save ourselves. So rather than offer self-help that would explain how you can make your life better, we preach repentance and how in turning to Jesus, he will make you better.

As a general rule we preach through entire books of the bible, verse by verse, explaining how all of it points to Jesus.

Sent to Everyone

Acts 13:13-51 records the one of the longest sermons of Paul in Acts. We can assume it forms the basis for every sermon Paul preaches in Acts as he enters different synagogues in each city he visits to share the Gospel. Paul takes the opportunity given him to share God's story, and how the Old Testament all points us to Jesus! The question of everyone's lifetime is what they'll do with Jesus. Pastor Josh briefly covers just 8 claims Jesus made of himself that require everyone to decide if he's a liar, crazy, or truly God. As followers of Christ we're sent to love people and invite them to follow Jesus with us. Pointing people to him. God sends us to everyone, and while only some will accept the delivery there's great joy for those who do!
