We’re fond of saying, It’s All About Jesus! – Why? Because It’s All About Jesus!
Preaching at Wawasee Bible focuses on what Jesus has done to rescue, redeem, and restore us by his work on the cross. God’s Word is clear that apart from Jesus Christ, we’re hopeless to save ourselves. So rather than offer self-help that would explain how you can make your life better, we preach repentance and how in turning to Jesus, he will make you better.
As a general rule we preach through entire books of the bible, verse by verse, explaining how all of it points to Jesus.

Jesus | Light of the World
Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” He announced this during the Feast of Tabernacles, an annual feast celebrating and remembering how God had led his people from Egypt, through the wilderness, and home into the Promised Land. God did this with a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night to light the way. In the same way Jesus is leading us home through the wilderness. He's the Light of the World, sent to light our way home.
