We Preach Jesus.

We’re fond of saying, It’s All About Jesus! – Why? Because It’s All About Jesus!

Preaching at Wawasee Bible focuses on what Jesus has done to rescue, redeem, and restore us by his work on the cross. God’s Word is clear that apart from Jesus Christ, we’re hopeless to save ourselves. So rather than offer self-help that would explain how you can make your life better, we preach repentance and how in turning to Jesus, he will make you better.

As a general rule we preach through entire books of the bible, verse by verse, explaining how all of it points to Jesus.

Paul in Athens

After having to leave Philippi, and then flee both Thessalonica and Berea, Paul makes his way to Athens. When he sees the lostness of Athens Paul is saddened. So he enters into the culture, engages with the people of the city, and shares the message of Jesus Christ and the resurrection. During his time in Athens Paul demonstrates what a good Gospel Conversation might look like, and how to pursue one. He starts with friendship, asks good questions, and keeps it simple! When you share God's story, you don't need all the answers—just your own answer.
